Volunteer Involvement:

BGL Industries, Inc. encourages our employees to become involved in our community.  We believe that good business practices include supporting the local business and partnering with non-profit organizations who can use our assistance.

We encourage our employees to patronize the gas staions, coffee shops, restaurants, repair shops, and all retail businesses in Boring. 

We also make donations each year to Habitat for Humanity.

As owners we set an example by dedicating a great deal of time volunteering for Guide Dogs for the Blind, Inc. Guide Dogs for the Blind is located in Boring and provides guide dogs to qualifying individuals free of charge. 

We do public education speaking events, provide foster care for guide dogs in training, host tours of the local campus, provide transportaion of students and dogs as needed and each week, assist in the dormitory by serving dinner to the students who are staying on campus, learning to work with their new canine partners.
